Install only if you want Remnic to act as an OpenClaw memory system with conversation access. Keep modelSource set to gateway and route that gateway to approved/local models if chats must not leave your environment. Do not enable external connectors or the local HTTP API unless you need them, and use narrow account scopes, strong bearer tokens, and secure local storage for memory and transcript data.
